There are tutors that cover many subjects, or you can find tutors that specialize in a certain subject that your child is having trouble with, such as math. They can come to your home or meet them at the local library. Then again, there are now learning centers that you can take your child to after school and throughout the summer months. This will allow your child to not only get help from a math tutor in a professional setting but potentially interact with other children if the learning center does group activities for some of the work.

It is vital that you and the school that your child attends has open communication about your child's academic standing. You need to know how he is improving and what new things may pop up that you need to have addressed with the tutors.
